Pueblo Paddlers

1) CLEAN UP-This Saturday April 9th at 8am we will be cleaning up the area below Pearl St parking lot. Everyone is invited to help. Bring gloves and tools for trash pickup and weed removal..If weather permits we will be boating after.

2)PLANTING TREES AND SHRUBS- we hope to plant native trees and shrubs along the white water course according to Gary Lacey's design. This event is being planned for Saturday the 16th of April but the date is not firm. Scott Hobson (City of Pueblo) is confirming the date with Gary and his staff. Scott may need help in prepairing the plants for that day and we will keep everybody posted.

3)Volunteers are needed for many parts of the Grand Opening Event May 7th. Parking,Water Safety,Safety Boaters,Booth Manning, and many other positions. We are thinking of doing some kind of rotation throughout the day so no one person has to do the same thing all day. Contact Bob at the Edge 719-583-2021 to get your name on the list.
4)Building Dressing Room-We need to build a dressing room for the event and Mike Hammond has the plans for this in progress. Mike can be reached 719-251-2101
5)Forming 501c3-Anyone with information or ideas about our group incorporating as a non-profit organization should contact John Zupancic 719-248-7825 or Bob Walker 719-583-2021. Anyone thats wants to be include in this process needs to let us know.
